ASTERA is a Tokyo-based DJ. Growing up surrounded by a wide range of music, she began her career as a DJ after discovering dance music. Today, she is active primarily in Tokyo’s club scene, with techno at the core of her sound.

Since beginning her career, she has performed at numerous clubs and events across Tokyo, and in 2026, she appeared at WORLD DJ FESTIVAL JAPAN. Her activities continue to expand beyond the club scene into festivals and a variety of other events.

At the heart of her DJ sets is a strong connection with the atmosphere of the space and the energy of the dancefloor. With careful attention to the flow and progression of each set, she seeks to draw out the energy that emerges in the moment to its fullest.

Drawing inspiration from dance music cultures in Japan and around the world, ASTERA continues to shape her own style through her sensibility and experience. Unbound by existing conventions, she is constantly exploring new forms of expression and possibilities as a DJ.
