Elli Arakawa has earned a reputation in Tokyo’s techno scene for her uncompromising DJing sets, which deftly traverse the full gamut of the genre. Psychedelic, hypnotic details combine with propulsive percussion – outdoors festival meets warehouse rave – a juxtaposition reflecting Elli’s own hybrid identity as a dual heritage, multi-hyphenate artist – which she has employed to potent effect in her sets at legendary Japanese party Future Terror, Mindgames and Rainbow Disco Club.

She is currently focussed on expanding her latest event concept “omni + directional”, rooted in the inherent potential for music to break down borders and forge new pathways, much like Elli has demonstrated in her own career.
