IKU began her DJ career in 2010.
Known for her strong individuality and approachable personality, she has spent years immersed in music alongside a wide range of artists, drawing significant inspiration from the communities she has been part of.
Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with leading Japanese and international artists including Darren Emerson, Kerri Chandler, Maya Jane Coles, BOYS NOIZE, KEN ISHII, Nina Kraviz, Mark Broom, and DJ Kentaro. Drawing on a broad musical background, IKU seamlessly blends diverse styles of underground music, creating dynamic, groove-driven sets that are uniquely her own.
In recent years, she has combined her work as a DJ with motherhood, focusing on food education and creating spaces where children and families can enjoy music together.
