Maacy began his DJ career in 2006. Based in Nagoya, he has established his signature style through countless warm-up sets for both Japanese and international artists.
In 2009, he launched the party Sensualism, inviting acclaimed techno artists from Japan and abroad, including Julian Jeweil, JPLS, Chus & Ceballos, D-Unity, and Drunken Kong.
Since 2020, he has been a regular at GATHER at WOMB in Shibuya, where he continues to represent Nagoya while sharing the unique sounds and grooves of cities across Japan.
He also launched Shinojima Pacific Hotel on the remote island of Shinojima—the island's first-ever dance music party. The event successfully introduced a new way of connecting music with the island's local culture.
Beyond the club scene, Maacy is actively involved in DJ bookings and music curation for restaurants and hotels, working to further energize and promote Nagoya's local music community.
