Ryota Nozaki

(Jazztronik)

Jazztronik is a music project led by Ryota Nozaki, featuring a fluid lineup with no fixed members.
Also active as a pianist, composer, and arranger, Nozaki has worked on numerous productions for other artists, as well as soundtracks for films and television dramas.

His distinctive musical style, which transcends the boundaries of classical, jazz, and club music, has earned widespread acclaim both in Japan and internationally. His 12-inch single “Dance with Me / SAMURAI” gained support from top DJs and dancers around the world, becoming an international hit.

He continues to perform globally, delivering DJ sets and live performances across Japan, Europe, the United States, and Asia.

In recent years, Nozaki collaborated with American producer Terrace Martin, known for his work with Kendrick Lamar and other major artists, on a visual project for Suntory’s “Toki Black,” released exclusively in overseas markets. His 2025 single “EVOKE” was also nominated for MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025, further highlighting his continued activity on the international stage.

In 2026, he released the four-track EP “Hot Dog,” followed by a new version of “SAMURAI,” digitally released at the end of August on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. A 12-inch vinyl single is also scheduled for release later in the year.
