TAICHOU
Takahiro Tonoike (NYLON / ex.444quad)
a DJ and promoter based in Saitama, Japan.
Rooted in techno and house, his sets are built around long-form mixing using both vinyl and CDJs. Active in Tokyo and the greater Kanto club scene for over 15 years, he is known for crafting time-conscious journeys that evolve gradually through seamless transitions and carefully considered programming.
Formerly the manager of 444quad in Omiya, he balanced venue management with his own DJ career while curating events featuring artists from Japan and abroad, including Steve Bicknell.
He has performed at venues including WOMB, Contact Tokyo, R LOUNGE, HVEN, ALADDIN, and 444quad, and has also appeared on SIN-ON, a monthly program on London's Fnoob Techno Radio.
Crossing generations of tracks without being confined by genre or era, his long-form sets are driven by flow, continuity, and a deep understanding of the dancefloor. While firmly rooted in his local scene, he continues to expand his reach through clubs, parties, and radio.
