U:ICHI began his DJ career in Okayama, a regional city in Japan. He quickly established himself as a regular at one of the city's leading venues, building a solid reputation as both a DJ and party organizer. In the mid-2000s, U:ICHI began performing in Tokyo, determined to develop a distinctive musical identity that could transcend genres and bring together different sounds within an increasingly fragmented party scene.

Performing consistently at Tokyo's leading venues, U:ICHI has earned the trust and respect of the club scene through more than 20 years of experience. His ability to select the right tracks for any situation, combined with exceptional mixing skills and creative use of effects, has made him a highly respected DJ. His sets carry an energy capable of driving a party straight into peak time, while also capturing the euphoria, emotion, and bittersweet moments of the dancefloor. Through his music, he creates a powerful connection with the atmosphere and emotions of the crowd.

In 2013, U:ICHI launched his resident party “WEAVES” at AIR, creating a platform that connects his musical vision with international artists. Since then, WEAVES has continued to take place at some of Tokyo's most renowned clubs, including WOMB, ageHa, VENT, and Vision.

In recent years, under the concept of “Exclusive Melodic Techno Party in TOKYO,” U:ICHI has delivered acclaimed warm-up and closing sets for internationally renowned DJs such as DOSEM, ARTBAT, YOTTO, and QRION, earning widespread praise for his performances.

Described as “The Master of Melodic in Japan” by DOSEM and KEN ISHII, U:ICHI continues to express his musical vision, passion, and performance skills through both DJing and production. He has released quality Melodic Techno and House tracks on European labels including HOUSTRIKE, TERRANOVA, SPROUT, and POSTSPRICTUM.

His international career has also expanded with performances in Spain, including Girona and Barcelona venues such as R33 and City Hall, as well as appearances in Germany, further establishing his presence on the global electronic music scene.

The name “WEAVES” reflects the idea of weaving sounds, people, and experiences together. With this philosophy at the heart of his work, U:ICHI has undoubtedly emerged as one of the artists bringing fresh energy and excitement to Japan's dance music scene.
